We spent the day at Dollywood on Saturday with Randy's family....it happens to be halfway between us and parent's...so, it is a good meeting place.

Camp Fitch: Part 7 Awards

Campers receive awards for a majority of the activites at Camp...Randy spent a lot of time at riflery and archery...He is actually a certified archer now by the National Archery Association! Way to go...

It seemed like this year was the year of the "rope swing"...the rope swing is located on Lake Mivima...a questionable "pond" in Camp, but fun nonetheless...

Camp Fitch: Part 2

Camp Fitch: Part I

We drove through the day on Friday and got to where my parents were staying in North East, PA (the town that I grew up in)...We got to stop by our old house...which is special to me. I have so many memories from this old house.

We got to camp on Saturday afternoon. Rody LOVED "playing" corn hole--here you can see Lake Erie in the background

And the dining hall was a big hit. It is wonderful to not have to worry about meals when you are on vacation!

We're BACK!

Sorry for the lameness that is my blogging right now...I'm really over trying to load pictures, only to have them load improperly...it just gets on my nerves...

We had a great week at Camp Fitch! I hopefull can post some sideways pictures for you soon! The 13 hour drive...that is another story. Let's just say breakdowns happened and it wasn't Rody...

I am back at work now...started Monday and kids started Wednesday--the first week exhaustion is setting in...and we are all transitioning to our new roles in daily life!
This is my 7th year in the classroom (8th year overall if you count the year I was an Instructional tech specialist with Whitfield County..). I can't believe it...8 years of working full-time...I think I am in need of a furlough or something of that sort...anyways....

Check back soon for some pictures! Rody LOVED camp...he just soaked it up! I loved watching him enjoy it all--and get to run around in beautiful green grass underneath huge trees, playing corn hole, throwing rocks into Lake Erie, and enjoying his family!
